Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium is located right outside the city centre of Cork in a small retail park. The stadium is comprised of a two tier stand only encompassing one side of the pitch. This gives a very special yet awkward experience as all the spectators are seated in the same stand. The lower tier comes with only standing capacity and the upper tier is where the Laurels restaurant and executive boxes are located. Seating/standing capacity is approximately 1,500.

Entrance for ticket holders in the possession of a hospitality ticket / package is done via the main reception entrance that is located in the Main Stand. A joyful atmosphere here, unlike any other event we have been.

Included in the package is 4 course meal (set menu). Although it could be a pity that it is a set menu that doesn’t provide that much choice, the quality of the food is good and waiting staff is very well instructed. Where else would you enjoy a fine quality meal and be entertained by spectacular grey hound racing? Should you have dietary requirements, no problem at all. Just inform the Restaurant beforehand and they will cater for.

Drinks were not included, however everything you would like to drink is available. Various wines, beers, soft drinks, with which you can accompany your meal.

The Laurels Restaurant is located on the upper level in the Main Stand. It is all glass shielded/covered giving you some excellent views on the track. As it is located just in the center of the race track, you have all evening some very good views. You will watch the races from your own private table from behind the glass faced window, cosy and something different.

The Restaurant has a layered design (just like a movie theatre) giving you the opportunity to be located next to or farther away from the glass window. Sportz Guru chose to be right next to the glass window as this provides the best views in the house.

The Restaurant gives you that typical informal yet stylish atmosphere, making you feel at home right away. The races last for about 3 hours so in the meantime sit back, relax and enjoy the Restaurant.

As is said before, you will watch the races from your own private table in the Laurels Restaurant. In our opinion this adds to the atmosphere, as everything you would like to have is catered for in comfortable settings. Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium Review Sport Hospitality Ticket.
